Today is Littlest Miller's 8th birthday. I was excited to celebrate with her, then plans changed. Welcome to quarantine...her, not me. I decided to try and brighten her day with a fun cake. She has been really into Barbies, so I thought she might like a dancing Barbie cake. Even though it was a hot day and the frosting started melting as I applied it, I am happy with the final product. It was sad when I had to drop off the cake without staying to visit and celebrate.
My Creative Marathon started on January 1, 2016, when I began doing a daily creative activity following a prompt from a book. This blog is a catalog each step of my creative marathon, 365 days and beyond. My marathon can also be followed on Instagram @rm.hansen

Vol. 5, No. 134, September 14, 2020
At rehearsal tonight for the LHS production of The Little Mermaid, I was on my way throwaway a misprint piece of paper and put away a scissors when I decided to create. I fan-folded the paper and created a connected row of daisies. The paper slid slightly as I was cutting causing one stem to disconnect from its flower, but I love how it turned out. I left ot sitting on the edge of the stage for others to enjoy.
