Day 141 - I left bright and early this morning for a cross-country road trip to visit my brother in Arizona. The first 13 hours of travel were uneventful other than the torrential rainfall we hit right as we were stopping for dinner.
Day 142 - On day 2 we hit the mountains, from snow capped in Colorado to Rocky in Utah, before arriving in AZ. With the timezone changes, we arrived in time for dinner.
Day 143 - In Arizona we soaked up the sun, admired the palm trees, and in between trips across town to help his roommates move into their new house, we shopped at thrift stores and furniture stores. The green string fell out of the tassel on a fan that my mom bought at a thrift store. The black shapes are seeds that I harvested from a plant in my brother's front yard.
Day 145 - Today was Memorial Day and I attended the community Memorial Day Service with my dad. The light blue paper in the sky is from A memorial Day card that I made with LilE.
Day 146 - On our last day in AZ, we walked along the channel and got a palm tree silhouette picture.
Day 147 - Today, we headed for home, following Route 66.
