Vol. 5, No. 053, March 1, 2020

5053 - Emotional State.

As I was hanging out at Wheel and Cog with the Miller Littles, I spent some time with Littlest Miller in the foam pit. She wanted me to bury her and then she popped out. It was a perfect expression of our fun day and the fact that it was Leap Day. I love that the foam fell into a heart in her lap at the end.

Vol. 4, No. 023, January 23, 2019

4023 - Hump Day.

As soon as I read the prompt, I knew that the Miller Littles, or at least the girls, would want to help me. After dinner, we headed downstairs to set up a Doll “Choir”. We put the dolls on camera while we hummed some version of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. I’m not sure we were all humming the same version. This was the best take of many.

Vol. 2, No. 29, January 29, 2017

Day 29 - Finding light in loss. Dance to the song 'Forever More' by Moloko. Write for 5 minutes about/to someone you no longer speak to but wish you could. Stand outside, turn one slow, steady, full circle on the spot and film what you see. I went to Darwin Hill to make my film, because I like the view from on top of the hill. I combined a poem inspired (not sure that is really the right word to use here) by my writing, the dance song, and my film to create a short movie. It's not great by any means, but the message behind it is "DON'T FORGET TO SMILE."
