Vol. 4, No. 221, August 9, 2019


4221 - Buttery.

The peaches decided that they were ripe. So tonight, after a full family dinner, minus Margo, and cleaning up the kitchen, we finally got started on our peaches just before 8pm. We decided to start with peach butter, which is similar to jam, however it doesn't not have any pectin in it, instead you just cook it until it thickens. Four hours and one broken jar later, Mom, Becca and I had produced six jars of peach butter.
