Mascots help motivate teams and their fans — create a mascot for yourself or your team! Bonus: Bring it with you during the day and take pictures of it in different locations.

The first thing I thought of was a kangaroo. I decided to use Sticky Tack from my desk drawer to build my mascot. I did it without looking at a picture and therefore it doesn't look like quite like a kangaroo and maybe more like a red panda. Either way, it went with me all day. Teaching 6th graders how to make Northern Light pictures by blending chalk; grading middle school art; teaching 1st graders about lines using finger paint; watching warm-ups for the LHS swim meet; and attending LHS Drama Rehearsal.
