As an art teacher during clay week, I wash my hands a lot. This means that I use a lot of paper towels, which usually go right into the trash. Today I saved one and during rehearsal tonight I fashioned a poppy using only the paper towel and one of those little rubber hair bands that always get caught in your hair and can only be used once. I laid the flower out on the stage to take the picture, as I was trying to get the best angle and lighting, the light masters changed the light color making my white flower appear this beautiful combination of purple and orange.
