3114 - Lines, Lines, LINES.
Lines are all around you and me, at least that’s how the song goes. My kindergarteners, first graders and second graders are learning about lines this week. We watched a cheesy, yet catchy, video on YouTube that talked about different kinds of lines and then practiced drawing 10 famous lines. They chose their favorite lines to draw on a paper that will be used as a blanket in an upcoming project. After drawing their lines with crayon, they painted their blankets with watercolors. I painted mine standing at the white board, thus the dripping paint.
