3116 - On Display.
Tomorrow is Arts and Academics, my school’s annual art show. Each student has a piece of artwork on display. As the art teacher, it is my job to set up the displays. This meant hanging 150 Picasso Portraits and laying out 140 paper mache masks on tables that I had to cover. While this really wouldn’t be a huge undertaking if I had been able to stay late at school multiple days and do a little each day, that wasn’t an option for me. So today was the day after working my normal hours in the morning I spent 4.5 hours setting up the display and grading all of the masks so it would all be ready when parents arrive at 7:30 am tomorrow.
