Vol. 4, No. 064, March 5, 2019

4064 - Hamming Up Your Menu.
Day 5:
Tear out a page of text from a newspaper or magazine. Write a poem using only the words you can find on that page.
I found a portion of a page ripped out of a magazine lying on the floor at school. Not knowing what it was, I picked it up and then grabbed a Sharpie. It was a page from a cooking magazine, most likely a March/April issue. Using Black Out Poetry, in free verse, I created the following poem. Don’t be just a succulent; it still offers the stunning show. Then recycle the dish.

It’s nothing fancy, but it made me think.
