My Creative Marathon started on January 1, 2016, when I began doing a daily creative activity following a prompt from a book. This blog is a catalog each step of my creative marathon, 365 days and beyond. My marathon can also be followed on Instagram @rm.hansen

2076 - Green Spill.
In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I decided to work only with green today. I also wanted to work in the weekly #CreativeSprint prompt which is Spill something and use it as your inspiration. So, I spilt green paint and green food coloring on green construction paper. Then I used green markers, crayons, and pens to zentangle the paint splotches. I actually prepared 2 papers, cutting close around one and laying it on top of the other. I hung the completed design on a bulletin board in the science room I was subbing in; the background was conveniently blues and greens. I left it on the board for the teacher and students to find when they come back from spring break next week.
