Vol. 2, No. 81, March 22, 2017

2081 - Ordinary Thimble.

I found a project on Pinterest where someone took ordinary objects and incorporated them into a drawing. I decided this would be a good project for days when I am subbing or don't want to bring supplies with me, as all I need is a piece of paper, a pencil, and a found object.

Today, I was subbing for Health in Howard Lake. In the desk, I found a small sewing kit which had a thimble in it. At first, I thought it would work well for the tip of a rocket, however I couldn't get it to sit right. So I flipped it over and made it a planter for some miniature spiked trees.
