Learn a new word and illustrate its meaning.

For today’s project, I pulled out the old dictionary that I picked up for free at a garage sale last week. I opened it to a random page and searched for a word I didn’t know, that word was haricot. After reading the definition and doing some online research, I discovered that a haricot is a white bean, but there is also haricot vert which a green bean. Because white beans wouldn’t show up on the page very well using colored pencils, I decided to draw green beans instead. Yes, I ripped the page from the book, that is why I got the dictionary after all.
